Member and Guest Travel Advice
If members or guests have recently returned from overseas, they are now required by law to self-isolate for 14 days upon their return, as of midnight on Sunday, March 15. During this period, they should not visit the golf club for any reason.
If – in the 14 days prior to Sunday, March 15 – members or guests have recently returned from or transited through China, Iran, Italy, Japan, Mongolia or South Korea, we recommend that they do not visit the golf club for any reason – including use of the golf course only – until the 14 day period has elapsed.
We further recommend that if – in the 14 days prior to Sunday March 15 – members or guests recently returned from or who have transited through Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand or from a cruise holiday and are experiencing flu-like symptoms do not visit the golf club, including use of the golf course only, for 14 days.

Member and Guest Health Advice
Golf clubs are heavily trafficked, and there is a chance that a member or guest will be exposed to, or test positive to, COVID-19.
It is vitally important that if a member or guest tests positive to COVID-19, they must inform the Golf Club as soon as possible. If this has occurred, anyone testing positive will be contacted by the State/Territory Department of Health in relation to contact tracing.
It should be noted that the vast majority of golfers can and should continue to visit the Golf Club as per normal. Of course, all golfers should exhibit a heightened awareness of personal hygiene and social distancing as has been encouraged by state and federal health departments.
Some recommendations include:
– No hand shaking;
– Wear your glove when removing the flag stick, using the ball washers and when raking bunkers;
– Only touch your own drink / glass.
Clubhouse & Golf Operations
The Clubhouse is currently “Open for Business”
As another form of precaution we encourage everyone to practice good hygiene, including washing hands regularly and for at least 20 seconds and using hand sanitizer (please note that Arundel Hills Country Club will endeavour to supply this where possible but due to the recent issue of supply shortage we may rely on customers providing their own).
The safety of our members, customers and staff is our utmost priority. To reduce the spread of COVID-19, from Wednesday 25th March 2020, we will take the following measures:
Only accept payments by Credit and EFTPOS cards or House Account.
- Contactless tap ‘Pay Wave’ is preferable.
- Cash out will be not available
Management is reviewing contingencies to plan ahead for club operations should public information or government policy change in the coming days and weeks.
